Why we exist, how we work
At NMO Legal, we advise technology-driven and mission-led companies on navigating complex regulatory environments across data protection, privacy/GDPR, and AI governance. Our work focuses on the legal and governance challenges that arise when technology, data, and artificial intelligence are developed, deployed, and scaled.
We provide privacy-by-design advisory, data protection compliance mapping, and ongoing board and management advisory on regulatory risk and governance.
Our services also include employee and management training, as well as drafting and reviewing key compliance documentation, including Privacy and Cookie Policies, internal procedures, DPAs, and DPIAs.
In the area of artificial intelligence, we support organizations in establishing AI governance frameworks, including customer-facing AI policies, internal AI implementation policies, and EU AI Act compliance readiness.
Our practice is grounded in trust, transparency, and accountability, with particular experience in FemTech and sectors involving sensitive or health-related data, where legal compliance, cultural sensitivity, and thoughtful design are essential to long-term sustainability.
Meet The Founder
Nisreen is a lawyer with over a decade of experience specializing in data protection, privacy/GDPR, and AI governance, and the founder of NMO Legal. She advises technology-driven and mission-led companies on navigating complex regulatory frameworks and building sustainable, responsible technologies.
She holds an LL.B. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an M.A. in Law, Technology and Business Innovation from Reichman University, and is a licensed Data Protection Officer (DPO) in Israel as well as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).
Her practice combines deep expertise in corporate and commercial law with extensive experience in data protection compliance, including advisory work for FemTech and technologies involving sensitive or health-related data. Her work focuses on privacy-first and trust-based design, regulatory resilience, and long-term viability, helping clients align legal compliance with real-world product and business needs.
Alongside her advisory practice, Nisreen is actively engaged in mentoring emerging Arab legal professionals, including junior lawyers and Data Protection Officers, supporting them in building confidence, professional judgment, and a solid foundation for their careers. She also mentors young female entrepreneurs and students, contributing to the development of the next generation of women leaders and innovators in technology.
Nisreen's guiding principle is that strong legal judgment gives innovators the confidence to focus on what they do best — building responsibly.

In parallel, we are proud to partner with Arab Women Entrepreneurs (AWE), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Palestinian women in Israel through entrepreneurship, leadership development, and community building. Through this partnership, we invest our time, knowledge, and mentorship in supporting Arab female founders and students, helping them navigate the early stages of their professional and entrepreneurial journeys.
